| how much is a 6-7 year old Ti frame worth? | split Aug 5, 2002 3:26 PM | | I've been toying around with the idea of building up a Ti bike to play around on. How much can I expect to fork over for a good used Ti frame (96-97). A Kona Hei Hei or a DBR for example. Nothing fancy, as long as it holds together and cleans up well. Thanks. |
| I can get you one cheap... | Rocketman58 Aug 7, 2002 10:45 AM | | I can get you a USA made 16" Ti Mongoose Pro frame for only $399. It was ridden one time. It was purchased New a few months ago. It is made from seamless Sanvik tubing with flawlwss welds. Way better than those cheap import frames (and cost less too!)

| I need at least an 18"... | split Aug 8, 2002 2:58 PM | | I think I'll need at least an 18" center of BB to top of seat tube and top tube length of around 22". That sounds like an okay deal, especially if it was only ridden once, though. Thanks. Can anyone else point me to some good deals? Thanks. |
