What are the best and cheapest gloves? I mainly ride XC and some mild freeride. I want a glove that will keep my hand cool in summer so it has to have good ventialation thanks.

The '01 Team downhills... for $10. I use em myself... warm enough for winter, cool enoguh for summer, if you're into full finger.

I might go back one of these days and buy another pair, before they're gone.
cool in summer, warm in winter... in georgia or florida maybeHardtailforever

You can't be serious. NO glove is cool in summer and warm in winter. Not real winter. You'd get frostbite. There's simply no way.
Check these out, $11 for Sorbothane padded ones.tl1

If you're not set on full-finger, try the REI lifeline glove. They're $19.50 at full retail, very comfortable, and mine have held up really, really well. Needed to get a new pair since I lost one over the winter, but otherwise they'd have lasted me another season at least. In REI's spring sale, they go for 14.50 or something, but that ended the 14th. Still a great deal. I switched form PI whitelines and I like these much better- more supple and a little cooler. Also, they're better if you get them wet/sweat a lot.
