Cheapest place for bulk tubes?upNdown

I'd like to get my tubes for under $2 each. Is there anywhere I can get a bulk price for 25 or 50 of them? Any manufacturers sell direct?
Beyond Bikes has Ritchey Ultralights for $1.99 each..NRSDude

I love these tubes! Light strong, hold air, and durable. Go to www.beyondbikes.com and get some ritchey's for 1.99. I Don't know how many they have.

Hope this helps-
Sam

Though I've never used Richey Ultralights, I'd be willing to give them a shot at 1.99 each. However, shipping charges for 20 tubes was $24. So I'll keep looking, thanks.
Same thing on E-Bay too..JmZ

Generic tubes at good prices, but the shipping is a killer.

Locally shops are going for $5 a tube.

Best I've seen is the Performance 3 packs at about $3 a pop, and if they have another 20% coupon....

Might also want to check Icycles at www.icyclesusa.com , $2.50 each when you get 10 or more, but don't know what shipping would be.

Good luck, and let me know too if you find something... would like to stock up as well.

I was fortunate to get 8 brand new presta valve lightweight tubes on ebay for $5, and shipping was 4 bucks.
MEC's online store...CraigH

sells generic tubes for $2.25-$2.75Cdn each, and they will ship to US. I think their shipping is reasonable too.

2.25 CAD Canada Dollars = 1.75712 USD United States Dollars
2.75 CAD Canada Dollars = 2.14769 USD United States Dollars

For Continental tubes $4-5Cdn each, but will only ship in Canada. (I use the Continental tubes and rarely flat, even riding FR & DH.)

I put in a big order with Jenson over the weekend for their $1.70 presta tubes. Not too bad shipping either; it brings the total per tube cost to about $2.00.
Thanks for the offer, but I saw it too late.

At 2 patches per tube, (4 for snake bites) you can cut your cost per tube down by 66%. The band-aid type last quite a while and I have never had a glue-type fail. I keep a bunch of repair jobs semi inflated in my cellar just to inspire confidence and remind me that the patches are effective. The weight? Ha Ha Ha Ha. funny

Glad to see you're still around. E-me for some Sat pm/dusk riding. thats about all I get with my current kids and work sched.

Yup, good tubes for 15 cents...Homebrew

Take your old tube with a hole in it and use a quality vulcanizing glue patch like Rema. It will be stronger than before.

I've got good luck with liquid latexCloxxki

I make my own mix out of water (anti-freeze) and latex, 3:1 aproximately. A few grams can mend a puncture, cost? Very little.
30g in a tube keeps it from flatting in the first place, which might make stocking up a LOT less interting. Get the tube you prefer at $5, feed it milk like a baby, and you won't be bothered with it for some time. I flat all the time, where others are clear of any trouble, but when I use latex'd tubes, the punctures stay away.
Actual latex tubes also flat less often, but cost at least twice that $5. The roll faster and are light to boot.
I agree completely...upNdown

However, all of my tubes have been patched and re-patched for a couple of years, and they don't seem to age very well in my shed. So its time for some new tubes. Honestly, I haven't had a flat in almost a year, because I gave up on XC tires since you introduced me to the Kujos. (Although I expect my recently installed WeirWolfs will flat eventually; they're tough, but not bullit proof) But my friends still all seem to flat with regularity, and its often easier to toss them a fresh tube and a C02 cartrige than it is to wait for them to patch a tube and mini-pump it.

I'd love to get out for night rides again, but my riding has become a bit of a sore spot with my wife in the past year, and any deviation from my once-a-week, sunday morning ride could be painful.
