If you're looking for a nice trailer at a decent price, GearPro.com, has the Yakima Naked Big Tow for $49. That's over $200 off!!!
Wow, I thought the price at Nashbar was good.tl1

Great find! They are $170 at Nashbar. They have the Yakima bag and cargo net @ Nashbar for $25 and $13 each at Nashbar but I didn't see them at gearpro.com.
Geeze, that's crazy-cheap. Nice find. nmTscheezy

Some reason I got an email showing your invoice. I contacted gearpro.com abou this problem. If you are in fact scamming me, I've stopped payment on my CC.

When I was trying to order online it had some guy named "Phillip Marsh" for a billing address. I think it is something wrong with their ordering software.

I just e-mailed them and Ed provided a phone number and was very helpful in taking my order.

I called up gearpro and apparently it was a glitch with their system. Some reason I had 3 people in my addressbook and an order that was not mine on my order history. Gearpro has apparently straightened this out, but Ed told me that the order to Martin Bellamy was not going to be sent out. I posted here so that Martin could e-me and I could tell him to call up ED and make sure his order was going to be sent out. Gearpro told me the first two and last two CC #'s on that order just to make sure someone else was using my CC and it wasn't mine.

I also talked to Rob their computer guy and he said he was updating the site most of the day which probably caused this problem, my account was deleted that had the order on it (so martin you might want to call or email gearpro w/ you invoice # to make sure you order is still in their system).

Sorry if I came across sounding harsh about the scamming in my first post, I was just a little freaked out about having another order on my account. I was guessing it was a system glitch since the order was for a big tow and I imagine alot of ppl followed this post and either put one in a cart or bought one.

With all this ebay scamming and stuff going on it's hard to trust people. After I e-mailed Ed and took a look at the site I felt pretty comfortable. It's an awesome score. I knew I checked this site everyday for some reason!

Enjoy your trailer...I won't get to use mine until I move back to the US in Jun 05.
Real reason why it's so cheapnobodyspecial

It's a great price. HOWEVER, the reason why it's so cheap is because you'll never find a replacement skewer if you need one - Yakima discontinued them (oops, I guess Yakima forgot to mention that *rolls eyes*). But at that price, what the heck, I might just get the trailer.
What skewer?daveIT

Can't you just use a regular skewer or a longer tandem skewer? Regardless, I'll find something that works for $49.

The trailer requires an extra long skewer that has the trailer attachments, much like the BOB trailer (different skewer design though, or else you could just use the BOB's instead). Yakima has said that they will no longer produce these skewers. In other words, they're basically dumping the Big Tow. But that price is too good to resist. Excuse me while I hit that "purchase" button.
Check this guy outtl1

"The comments for your order are

I placed my order Friday afternoon and it was shipped on from their store on Saturday. Expected delivery time is Wednesday. I couldn't believe the price when I saw this post, I figured it was a misprint, but then I went to their site and it said "over $200 off retail". I gave the store a call since I had never heard of them before and I didn't find any store reviews on bizrate. They seemed like a regular outdoors store that also does some online business. I decided to order 2 at that price (and shipping was only $7 for two of the trailers!!!). When I called them up, I asked them if they had any more still in stock, he said "We've got a whole pile of them". At the same time I was thinking to myself "I better order quick before everyone else on MTBR orders, they're going to sell out for sure".

According some some people Yakima is not making these any more or replacement parts, so I'll have a spare of parts or maybe BOB skewers will work.

Oh, you can still buy a Yak Big Tow from www.nashbar.com, but you'll pay $160-170 plus shipping. Not quite the screaming deal that $49.00 was.
Yeah, well it sucks because I ordered on Thursday eveningtl1
